UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: New Dependent Visa Endorsement Procedure in Dubai

February 11, 2019

Effective immediately, the immigration authorities (GDRFA) in Dubai have modified the dependent visa endorsement procedure, adding up to four days to the process.

Sponsors wishing to have a dependent visa stamped in a passport must now visit the office of Zajel, the GDRFA’s official courier service, located in the general post office in Dubai, where waiting times of at least two hours can be expected. Alternatively, the sponsor’s immigration provider may be able to arrange endorsement directly with Zajel.

Previously, the visa could be endorsed at the immigration office in Al Manara Immigration Center.
