VIETNAM: Changes to Work Permit Rules
On 8 October 2018, Decree 140/2018/NĐ-CP was issued by MOLISA, bringing a few changes and additions to Decree 11/2016/ NĐ-CP.
BELGIUM: 2019 Minimum Salary Increases for Work Permits
Minimum salary requirements for Type B work permits will increase from 1 January 2019. Belgium annually increases its minimum salary requirements for foreign nationals in line with inflation.
IRELAND: Ongoing IRP Appointment Delays

BRAZIL: Expedited Processing for Residence Authorisation for Technical Assistance Now Limited to “Urgent” and “Emergency” Cases
On 16 October 2018, the National Immigration Council published Normative Resolution (NR) 34/2018, amending NR 03/2017, which is applicable to foreign nationals who enter Brazil for up to one year to provide technical assistance services while remaining on home contract.
PANAMA: Stamped Visa for Nationals of Cuba, China, Dominican Republic, India and Venezuela Now Valid for up to Five Years
Effective 12 October 2018, the multiple-entry stamped visa issued to nationals of Cuba, China, Dominican Republic, India and Venezuela is valid for up to five years.
