DENMARK: New Procedure for EU National Immigration Applications

Effective 1 April 2019, immigration applications by EU nationals will be handled by the Danish Agency of International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI). Currently, these cases are handled by the State Administration (RSA).

Transition

  • Until 15 March 2019, EU applications can be submitted online, and issued documents must be collected in person by 29 March 2019 at RSA.
  • From 16 March 2019, EU applications must be submitted in person at the RSA and collected in person by 29 March 2019.
  • From 1 April 2019, there will be a new procedure for submitting applications and booking appointments via SIRI. Further details are not yet available.
