Newland Chase is delighted to announce the opening of their new office in Rio de Janeiro. The team in Brazil officially “christened” their new office on April 18 with an office-warming cocktail reception for staff, clients, suppliers, and prospects. The 40-member Rio team had already begun working out of their new office two days prior.
Located in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, the new office was custom-designed for Newland Chase in a new upscale, modern office building with easy access to Santos Dumont Airport trams and other main public transports. The new space also includes access to a 70-capacity meeting room for events and a roof-top outdoor space with beautiful views of nearby Guanabara Bay.
Newland Chase’s operations in Brazil has experienced a remarkable expansion over the last 3 years – with its footprint in Brazil more than tripling through both acquisition and new business development. The Newland Chase Brazil team now includes more than 85 team members located in three offices in Rio, São Paulo, and Macaé.
“We’ve been so pleased with our growth over the last few years and how we’ve been able to partner with so many companies for their success in Brazil,” said Daniela Lima, Newland Chase’s Managing Director of Latin America. “The new office is beautiful… but more importantly, it’s going to be a great tool to assist us in further supporting our clients. We’re so excited to see where the future takes us together… Newland Chase, our clients, and Brazil.”
Similarly, the São Paulo office houses 40 team members and is located in an equally well-equipped modern office building in the heart of the city just a block from the main corporate centre. The smaller Macaé office is strategically located in the fast-growing city labelled as Brazil’s “Cidade do Petróleo” (“city of petroleum”) as the centre of Brazil’s offshore petroleum industry.
